I have been looking forward to trying this place when the Happy Valley Food Hall opened again. I ordered crab puffs and pan seared black pepper beef dumplings with mala sauce on the side. Everything turned out amazing and fresh. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Unfortunately, I did not take pictures to show how good everything looked! This is definitely a must stop if you are looking for fresh dumplings! They also sell other dishes such as stir fried dishes and Xiao Long Bao! You won’t be disappointed when you come here.

Tried the Chongqing hot chicken — super crispy, spicy, and full of flavor. Can’t wait to try more. So happy to have a great new spot in the neighborhood!

The best dumpling I have in Portland. I like it so much. The Shanghai bok choy so good, full of wok air. The Tom yum sauce for the dumplings is innovating and refreshing.

We finally popped into Sunnyside’s Last Sip and sampled a bunch of the restaurants. The dumplings from The Dumpling Boys were delicious and the other dishes we saw coming out looked amazing (they have a large menu and we will be back to try more than just dumplings). The staff and chef were so kind and made great recommendations.

Clearly this isn’t fast food, so you can’t expect them to have food ready within minutes. First come, first serve. Since their food is so yummy and popular, they must be super busy. Can’t blame them for being busy, that’s not fair. They’re all so nice and hard working! You can see that they care and are trying their best. Good job guys!

Really good authentic chinese food in Happy Valley- so glad they opened up! Fried rice is yummy (not the type covered in soy sauce) and dumplings taste fresh (not frozen). Not cheap but the portion size for entrees is fair and quality is good, not greasy. Size of prawns is good too. The workers are always friendly and helpful. No complaints at all- eat here almost once a week. More like a 4.5.

I get the green bean dish at every Chinese restaurant that has it. This is truly one of the best I’ve had. I’m also not big on ordering chow mein, but we tried it here and it was a n shockingly tasty. The whole dish had a smoky wok flavor that was irresistible. We also had the pan fried pork and chive dumplings with the curry sauce - excellent combination of flavors there. Love this place and excited to have another venue with excellent Chinese food!
